What is this year’s theme?

“Uncommon Sense – Walking in Wisdom” (James 3:17-18; Col 4:5). The Sabbath seminars will all be covering different aspects of wisdom as pointed out in James 3.

How much does housing cost?

The church rate is $59 per night. This is a fabulous property and rate. You will need to be sure and let the hotel know you are with the United Church of God.

How much do the sporting events cost?

Same pricing as the last couple of years, please see details on the registration page or on the registration sheet available from your pastor.

How can I make reservations?

What does the schedule look like?

A detailed schedule will come out by the middle of November. You can count on the following…

Dec 22nd – 2:00pm check in begins. A family dance begins at 8:00 pm. Dance will be followed by karaoke. Theme of the family dance is “Blast from the Past” – Pick your favorite era and come dressed up if you can. (Nothing immodest or offensive please)

Dec 23rd – ABC Continuing education classes, Volleyball, Basketball, Speedaway, Flag Football, organized pre-teen games, Cards and Board games, indoor rock climbing, Bluegrass jam session, Family novelty Olympics, Karaoke, Singles activities and dance.

Dec 24th – ABC Continuing education classes, Volleyball, Basketball, Speedaway, Flag Football, organized pre-teen games, Cards and Board games, indoor rock climbing, bowling, singles seminar and activities, Free pizza and drinks, Family Fun Fair, Rock and Country jam session, Two bands perform.

Dec 25th – ABC Continuing education classes, Volleyball, Basketball, Speedaway, Flag Football, organized pre-teen games, Cards and Board games, singles activities, evening seminars, hymn sing.

Dec 26th – Morning Seminars, Sabbath Services, Movie night, Teen dance – “Bring back the 80’s” (80’s attire for those dressing with the theme), Young Adult Dance – “Cowboy Country Cool” (western wear for those dressing with the theme).

This year’s Winter Family Weekend in Louisville, Kentucky, will take place from Tuesday evening, Dec. 22, and run through Saturday night, Dec. 26. It will begin with a family dance and continue during the week with seminars, sporting events, family activities and Sabbath services. This event has become a real favorite for our Church families. Last year about 2,000 people enjoyed the new host venue of the Galt House. Announcements with many more details will be coming out following the Feast of Tabernacles.

Registration for this event begins Oct. 13.

Beginning Oct. 26, reservations can be made at the Galt House.  Any reservations made before Oct. 26 will not reflect the UCG group rate.
